Meet The Team

 Dr. Austin Buergermeister originally from Long Island, New York had received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After graduating from UNCC he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Buergermeister had his first chiropractic experience while attending undergraduate school where he had hurt himself while lifting weights. He states that he received one Chiropractic treatment and suddenly realized his calling. Dr. Buergermeister wants to treat the cause of a patients symptoms utilizing holistic techniques.  His method is to relieve pain and restore function to help his patients meet their goals. 

While attending Chiropractic school he had taught fellow students soft tissue techniques weekly on campus as well as aided in the Rehab department in the Palmer Clinic. 

Following chiropractic school he has since furthered his education by becoming certified in NeuroKinetic Therapy, addressing compensation patterns in the body to help optimize function and perform better. As well as a certification in the Webster Technique, a protocol and technique to help mothers throughout their pregnancy journey by reducing pelvic tension and discomfort. 

  Dr. Buergermeister returned to Mooresville to help serve families in his community, and reduce the need for medications or surgery. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, softball, and being outdoors.
